Langside College, Business School

AGM

Workshop Guest speaker: Catherine Rice

Workshop: Catherine Rice from the University of Abertay will give a brief resume of the remit from the Scottish Executive and discuss the ways she undertook the mapping and scoping survey of ESOL in Scotland. She will show the main findings with some analysis of why people replied in the way they did. She will list the recommendations which she made to the ESOL National Strategy Group and bring us up to date with what has happened since the completion of the survey.

AGM: The Forum are looking for new Directors  to join The Board. Please let us know if you are interested or know of anyone who would be suitable. It is important for The Forum to have a cross section of ESOL representation on The Board so please don't rule yourself out! All new members are welcome at the workshop/AGM - tell your friends!

The college is easily accessible by bus and train (Mount Florida is the nearest railway station).

You may join the Forum at any time until Saturday or on the day.

We look forward to seeing you on the 23 rd April.
