The Workplace ESOL Project

The Workplace ESOL Project provides ESOL courses at the premises of businesses and organisations across Glasgow. The project is a pilot programme for work-based ESOL courses, targeting organisations and companies with workers who do not speak English as a first language and for whom this is a barrier to using their full skill set.

The Workplace ESOL Project is funded until June 2008 by the Scottish Executive REICS fund.

Workplace ESOL Courses can:

  • Strengthen communication skills
  • Improve productivity and efficiency of your company
  • Improve quality through reduced errors
  • Improve your health and safety record
  • Increase employee willingness and ability to learn
  • Build confidence
  • Improve staff loyalty and flexibility
