Volunteer Tutor Workshops

The Volunteer Tutor Project runs regular Workshops for Volunteer ESOL Tutors on a Saturday morning. These workshops aim to meet further training needs as expressed by Volunteer Tutors and they are designed to provide an informal platform for Volunteer Tutors to meet and exchange ideas and experiences.

Saturday 7th October 2006,
9:30 a.m. - 1:30 p.m. Board Room,
113 St. George's Road, Glasgow G3 6JA
.

We hope to have presentations and workshops on the overall theme of stress, trauma and mental health issues affecting refugees and asylum seekers. Individual sessions are subject to confirmation.

Programme:

9:30 - 10 a.m. registration and opportunity for informal exchange

10 a.m. - 11.15 a.m. first session, to be confirmed

11.15 a.m. - 12.30p.m. second session to be confirmed

12.30 - 1.30 p.m. snack lunch, informal exchange

All Volunteer ESOL Tutors are invited to attend this workshop. For organisational reasons, and so that nobody goes hungry or thirsty, please advise of your intention to attend.
